This Privacy Policy explains how One Thing ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. The App is developed by Dipesh Sankhala.

1. Summary

One Thing is designed to work privately. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Your tasks and streak data stay on your device.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information on our servers. The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• The daily task text you enter
• Whether each task was marked as done, and your streak count
• Your settings, such as reminder time, reminder on/off, and theme

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. These notifications are generated by your device and do not involve any external server. You can turn them off at any time in the App's settings or in your device settings.

4. Analytics, advertising, and third parties

The App does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking technologies, and it does not share data with third parties.

5. Data retention and deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device, you control it. You can delete your data by using the "Reset streak" option in settings, or by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data.

6. Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected, no information from children is stored or shared by us.

7. Security

Your data is stored in the App's private storage on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security. No method of storage is completely secure, so we recommend keeping your device protected with a screen lock and up-to-date software.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If a future version of the App collects any data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
